Alexis had been pretty quiet as of late but really, that wasn't anything new. She was never the type to stand out and often preferred to stay in the background. This might be because of what happened between her and her parents when she told them about Rachelle and she ended up being sent away to live with her aunt. Not to mention all the medication she'd been since she was a child. Or it could be because she was just a little shy, which is the reason she encouraged more. No, Alexis simply kept to herself mostly, doing her schoolwork. She hadn't even really spoke to Teri much, and she wondered if her roommate had forgotten who she was, regardless of whether or not Teri had lost her memories the past few days.
"You really should get back to the dorms," the ghost of her sister Rachelle spoke as Alexis wrapped her jacket tighter around herself when the wind picked up a little. She mumbled something, getting a weird look from an older man as she passed him. Once they were far away from him, Alexis shot her sister a look of her own - an annoyed one.
"What? I'm just looking out for you," Rachelle raised her hands in defense. "You're not a ghost like me, you can still catch a cold or something."
"Gee, I'm really lucky to have a ghost for a sister who's so kind and caring, and will always look out for me," Alexis replied, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Suddenly, she heard someone gave a small cough behind her. She turned around and saw someone else. She wondered how long they had been there, if they had been standing there through the whole conversation. But instead of asking that, she snapped at them instead.
"What?" she asked angrily. Maybe she was annoyed with Rachelle. Maybe she wasn't liking the look this person was giving her; the same look that most people had given her in the past years, which she had become used to but now, it had been pissing her off lately. Or maybe she was just a little stressed from university and having to make sure not to talk to Rachelle in front of others, like now. Either way, she wasn't in a very good mood.
